Rare lampe de table en rigitule (fines tôles de métal perforées) assemblées délicatement et soudées entre elles à l’étain ; peinte en rouge vif (peinture d’origine, quelques manques) surmontée d’une boule en laiton rappelant l’architecture arabe. Triangle démontable sur le dessous. Bel objet atypique, lumière tamisée non sans rappeler les ambiances clair-obscur marocaines (Matégot vécut et travailla à Casablanca ; les Ateliers Matégot continuèrent la production jusque dans les années 70). Detachable triangular base on the underside. An unusual and striking object, its filtered light subtly recalls Moroccan chiaroscuro atmospheres (Matégot lived and worked in Casablanca; Ateliers Matégot continued production into the 1970s).
